 Welcome to the online home of the Towing Education Council. It is our sole purpose here to provide each and every one of you with the tools necessary to allow for a truly professional environment with properly trained staff.
With the passing of the latest rounds of the 80th Legislation, we now have the "Texas Towing Act". It allows for the move from TX Dept. of Transportation to the Texas Dept. License & Regulation. Along with this comes new training and certification requirements. Soon, the day of hiring just any guy on the street to drive and operate a tow truck will be non-existent. Gone also are the days of frequent damages and frequent complaints of an inexperienced, under qualified driver.
We are here to assist in any training requirements or certification questions that you may have. We currently are responding to the major need of new and trained drivers in the Towing Industry. We are now establishing partnerships with new schools with local Colleges to provide this highly demanded course.
